Today i want to share with all of u regarding the IT + IS management in hospitals...
Since when i worked in hospital??never!..and never will be..
This story start with my sista..she is a doctor..
Last nite, she is really pist off with this Info system that is done in the hospital..
There are a lot of patients waititng..and the Info system is not working well..
When my sis had write down all the particulars+treatement++ for the patient..suddenly the system break dwn..this happen for more than 10 times.
By using this paperless system, the doctors cannot compare the history treatment of the patients to one another..
They need to open in seperate time..and it really takes time
This is one of the reason, why patient need to wait for a long time to see a doctor..
I really advice u all to go to private hosp if the pain is tremendously painful..
I really not understand why hospitals and any organization use the paperless@info system if our system is not concrete enough to be used.
Mostly the patient will ambush the doctors and nurse for their slow management++
But actually this is not true..
My recommendation :for a start, this system maybe can be tested in a small organization..
Later, we can used a system that is perfectly tested..and ready to be used in a big organization.
I really need your comment and feedback regarding this issue..
Especially for those, who had the experience waiting for 3-4 hours to see a doctor in any hospital.especially hosp selayang and putrajaya..huhu...

hi...i'm the one who regularly go to the hospital...from what i've experienced, paperless system is much more better...especially when u have to take the same medicine every month..before the paperless system, i have to bring a log book everytime i go to take the medicine and i have to wait and queue more than 3 hours...but now in paperless system, i juz have to sms to the hospitals pharmacies before i go to the hospital..so, when i am arrive at the hospital, the medicine is ready..

ReplyDeleteRegarding the medicine is pratically easy,but in term of operation of the hospitals..is worst.There are a lot of researcher did a research using our hospitals as their sample and population.
ReplyDeleteAt first they choose to have Hospital Selayang because of their paperless system,then the researcher had a dificult time.Then,most of the Selayang Hospital staff complaining about the system ..n until today they're complaining..
I think wut Sahidah said is right, but as usual..there will be a negative impact..n people will have a hard time to change to a new system ..and all depends on the people..huhu
